@Zambrick I never said it was related to any specific type of scan. But as seen and (not) heard in the video, no scan appears to take place at all. After seeing this new evidence I definitely don’t think animation is the problem - because there clearly is animation and sound to it - but that there is a bug causing them to detect you when they actually shouldn’t see you (when they’re not scanning nor are in a specific mode).
IMO they should if the bugs are so severe that they detect you in bunkers through thick layers of concrete, like Crunchmeister pointed out. That, combined with them clipping/phasing through walls to the point where they actually go through them:
@Zambrick My garage video just happened to be a smaller, not as critical example. But it proves that there is a problem.
And even if they weren’t able to completely clip through walls like Crunchmeister said (I myself haven’t experienced this yet), I’d still say that constantly being detected while inside a bunker is quite a mood killer when you are trying to immerse yourself into the game.
I know that the dev team has a huge pile of problems and bug reports to go through, and I do feel for them (I’m a developer myself - albeit kind of new - just not a game developer). However, that doesn’t make it any less of a reason to write a report when I detect a problem.
Also, if I’m not mistaken (based on the similar ones I’ve seen before, which was a while ago) this is now the one that has gotten the most attention from the community.
