but eh its GZ’s choice not mine and ik the game is up for realism but its robots in the 80’s like seriously a little bit of npc action and a hacked hunter would be freaking awesome!
Hacking specialization = hacked hunter. Have done it several times with my 1st char.

So ye it’s awesome I’m level 20 so I’m working my way gradually so I haven’t hacked anything so far, the closest I’ve had is throwing a sticky flare on a tank and having a gang of hunters kill it!
Thank you for the Hunter lesson though I didn’t realise a robot the same weight as a car could jump 5ft in the air 
they must have some serious suspension in the 80’s for that thing not to break its skinny legs!
Though, do note that higher type and class machines have less hacking success chance and hacking state doesn’t last for long either. But you can effectively hack hunters to fight on your side.
Hunter’s “suspension” is hydraulic piston.
Also, the thickness of the leg doesn’t matter when you use sturdy material. E.g same thickness wooden pole has far less strength than steel pole.
