1.21.23 ps4 4 players Firebird was flying unusually low and I couldn’t register any hits. I was hiding behind a house at the base of a hill/mountain and the Firebird flew straight into the mountain and didn’t emerge
Hm… unfortunately I can say that I know something similar. my buddy attacked one and i attacked one. I had finished mine and wanted to help! then he suddenly flies away and when we ran after him he suddenly disappeared into nowhere.

This part is related to other issue, where combat detection and threat level is higher from FNIX machines. And firebird just ignores player, and flies away.
Happens on PC platform, have withnessed this fly away constantly happening.
