Completed the mission long time ago. Played in that area again yesterday:

  • 4 FNIX tanks
  • 1 Apo tank
  • 2 FNIX harvesters

and of course your regular bunch of hunters, doggies and seekers.

This seems to be quite normal for the area in my game, related to the mission or not.

I wonder if this is some kind of individual game balancing. Perhaps this should be a new thread because we are probably getting off topic, but it is triggered by what we discuss here.

Does the game mechanics take your play style into account when spawning enemies? Perhaps based on your kill/death ratio, skill level, etc.? I’m sure we players span a wide range of gaming skills from elderly guys on consoles to young agile guys with high powered gaming PC’s with highly optimized pointing devices. Game mechanics then try to satisfy the major part of gamers under the Normal distribution, but wouldn’t fit all. Hence the occasional “the game is to easy/hard” discussions. I’m curious to know.

That’s exactly what I was getting, in terms of numbers - although I once had six tanks and two harvesters.

Vallinge church usually spans a few tanks or harvesters for me along with the usual bunch of hunters and runners. Just spanned three tanks, all within range and easily lured closer. Angerås church too.
