Looks a little bit like this machine.
Way to big… And where are the legs?
In my eyes it look more like this:
Could be totally wrong, but the greatest problem of all speculations is, that we don’t know or don’t see any weapon(type).
Ok. the Legs are not visible. Pherhaps the machine has ducked down. In my mind makes the strider more sense as a railchain because of the terrain.
If the location I found is correct, it moves on a road. That’s not a real evidence of course… But I don’t think that the devs introduce a new faction with just more legged machines.
The terrain is in general no problem for a classic tank with chain drive. A german Leopard 2 has a gradeability of 60% vertical and 30% horizontal.
And the swedish forces in GZ just used tanks as well. Why should they use them if they don’t fit their own terrain?
This soviet tank in the teaser just has to be faster and more mobile. It also needs more armor and devastating weapons mounted on a fast turning turret. Therefore a long-barreled gun would make not much sense.
And that’s where it gets interesting. Will it have some kind of futuristic weapon(s)?
Or a combination of normal weapons for maximum armor and component damage?
I went and looked for the location, and I’m now 100% sure I found it. Coordinates are -2340 -3700, in the Marshlands.
Pherhaps you be right that it is a russian tank. look at the encirceled structure that looks like a chain.
This structure looks like a fog thrower that is mounted to the side of the turret. Our german Leopard 2 has this too. Also the swedish army uses the leopard 2. But think on it must be the technic of 1989 i don’t know when the Leo 2 joined the swedish army. Most of the tanks what are in the game is the stridsvagn 103 .
it has a chain that tank use to move maybe iit will be a BFT big fricking tank
