Evening community,
A small request and hopefully not too time consuming, but once upon a time in Sweden - if you restocked your inventory that was saved to a quick slot ( back when we had 4 ) the item would auto equip back into that slot.
Please could this be implemented into the weapon wheel, as it’s very annoying when the item is greyed out in the wheel, but they are in your inventory.

This feature just had been added in the latest update.
If you for example throw away all your grenades the slot turns grey. Before it just was empty. Now, if you grab a grenade out of a box or corpse or… it will refill this slot. Works for me.
Do you have a special item in mind where it doesn’t work?
One annoying thing, which was added to the game maybe by this (or even earlier? Idk) is that if you gathered for example 50 hedp rockets and throw 30 of them into your plundra, this will remove the rockets from the granatgevär and you will have to change the ammo first before you can use the remaining hedp again.
Same for every other weapon and ammo.
The feature may have been added, that doesn’t mean it works. On Steam, i had a land mine greyed out and despite having several in my inventory it never restoxked, caught this one on Stream. Another item that never worked was tick pods, this one i reported on the Discord before the hotfix came out.
That’s why I asked.
Of course there could be items / systems where it doesn’t work for as expected.
I didn’t have this problem yet on ps5, but I didn’t try it for every item.

Well I can confirm that that does not happen on XB in any way shape or form. So maybe not a request after all - but a bug if your able to restock your wheel automatically.
Could you get a video together showing this happening please @Madchaser ill then amend to a bug report.

It doesn’t work for me either. I’m Series X so maybe it’s an Xbox thing.
Gonna be interesting to see the video of it working that’s for sure.
It’s no biggy after what we’ve put up with recently. I can live without it working but they did say it was fixed and it is’nt. What I would really like is a second way to get an Exp Hammer. I refuse to do Reapers so the hammer is the only thing in the game I haven’t got.
Steam thing as well, gonna test PS another time to see if it truly does work there.
Haven’t had this not work for me on Steam. Typically my Slot 4 is reserved for grenades. I often run out. As soon as I pick up new ones from some loot source, they automatically get populated back to my Slot 4. And can confirm just last night I ran out of medpacks in my Slot 6. Got back to a Plundra, grabbed a bunch, and they were automatically populated in my Slot 6 again.
That works. Must be an Xbox thing. Anyone here have an Xbox where it works?
This has been my experience. I’ve yet to have this not work.
That said, I play on PC. It may be an issue on consoles, but I don’t have one to test with.
Steam PC here. It works for me with Medkits and Small EMPs. I don’t use Grenades so I can’t comment on those.
