Showdown Update - Patch Notes

I just noticed, the ammo is tied to the weapon and also gets moved out of my inventory when moving the weapon away! I assumed, the weapons would be transferred separately from ammo…

Did one of each base defenses (one for each new structure) today.

I did easy ones for the beginning.

It was quite nice. My bases did most of the work.
Just one thing:

The earned ressources should directly go to the ressource station.

I didn’t know that you have to collect them at the structure at first, travelled somewhere else, did another mission, found it out, went back to the first, but wasn’t able to collect them later.

How do you make them work? I have dropped in the phosphorous drill and nothing happens.

They have a button.
You press it, choose the difficulty, defend the base and if the mission is over you collect the ressources at a small hatch at the structure.

Btw went to Kilsberget… You know, the great Open space on the mountain in mountains region in hope to find it filled with a structure.

And became disappointed. No change there.

I noticed yesterday, that I didn’t get notifications for rewards after doing base assaults, got no popup after destroying a reaper and no splash screens when I picked up weapons.
But I also didn’t get an info about what I picked up on the right side of the screen.

Anyone else?

Happened to me once. Fixed after restarting the game

I also have problem with cross play after the latest update, it comes up an messege when we invite but I cant read it in time before it disappears.

just a tip: when placing a chemical tank in the base defense :rofl::woozy_face: build those walls around it, lots of walls, turn that thing on hard & watch the FNIX tanks, hunters & runners go nuts everywhere :grimacing: wowsers ??? !

Sounds like a great idea- except that it now takes LOTS of special components to build lots of walls. I can do that, but someone clearly didn’t think that one through. One of the constants here was complaints about grind- and yet the player base got more grind. Not very smart.

after building up a base, repair button is FREE forever :slightly_smiling_face: after each battle, replace your base BRAND new forever, even if tanks completely destroy the base, FREE, repairs EVERY single time, no more resources required for that base

I understand that base repair is free- but grinding multiple base defense missions to get just a few new elements for building a handful walls (of almost any kind) is just silly. I played the game straight up and had no problem whatsoever scavenging the hell out of Sweden. It’s what one would have to do to survive in such a post- apocalyptic environment. In my experience, most players are unwilling to do even that and either panhandle for everything or resort to “other methods”. THAT should have been foreseen and avoided. Instead, those making the decisions doubled down on the grind. That was a poor decision. The solution? Have destroyed rivals drop a few- even one or two.

Same. No notifications at all yesterday, not even when rivals level up. But then today everything was back to normal.

Yep! I love that new feature.

For me the same.
Yesterday they all were back.
Sometimes with a great delay, but they were back.
Partly I was glad not to be flooded with onscreen messages, but at least the rewards overview for Base assaults I was missing.

@Zesiir. Not sure if anyone already asked but with Carni gone, can you please remind the Devs to turn on the snow this year before they leave the office. Christmas is next week🎄
