3 player assault assignment

I play a lone game, as those that Play on line with all left Generation zero, I try to create a multi player game for the 2 & 3 player assault assignment but the control point bases are not available in the game, so therefore cannot complete the assessment when others join.

You mean if you’re the host your bases aren’t there for other players?

That would be a bad bug.

Unfortunatly development and support ended early this year… And the forum will be deleted in november, too. And I just saw that the official support page of avalanche is now empty, too.

So, I guess there is no chance to get it fixed, if that’s the issue.

Yes, so cannot play the assignment as a team, therefore it will not be complete the 3 player assignment.

While we talk about the control point, I have a question. Why doesn’t my map show me any fnix bases/control point even though they are there?

When viewing your map, check the Filter icons on the left if you have show all on.
And show us a fullscreen screenshot of your map.

You’ll need to discover these bases first. Only then will they show up on the map.

I have currently discovered all the bases and also discovered that these weird effects were temporary.

Think you miss read the post, i played this game from day one and discovered all the base, home. They assignment was to play with 3 player to destroy a base but when others joined there was no base to destroy on the map.

Sorry, but it looks like @Thomas1 was replying to @Bronzerooms6. So there was some confusion as he wasn’t meaning to address you with his statement.

As for the issue you stated I believe @Madchaser had the best, though all be it, the toughest answer.

Depending on how long you or your friends been playing, if any of you took a break for a bit, there was an update a while back that caused issues and de-syncs with bases. You or your friends may need to complete a quest that opens/starts the ability to build bases.

I know for me that happened. A friend of mine had played off and on with me, but he missed/hadn’t completed the mission. I had to go back and redo it.

The mission was called “Good News” I think. Check to see if you and your friends have completed that mission. EDIT: Correction here, the mission name was changed to Building Blocks (it used to be called Good News) and its in the main missions.

I’m sorry, but that’s the extent of what I could think you could try. With support for the game ending, there’s not much that can be done. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Well, that’s just guessing, too.
As gysbert said, he should post a screenshot of the full map screen.

Nevertheless, I recommend just to skip these assignments. You cannot reach tank level in a week, so it’s effort for almost nothing.

What can I say, when you’re right, you’re right! :+1:

semla eating contest

The question is just: are there some to find? Or is it just a random assignment?

Could it be that only when you start the semla challenge, some places will spawn semla’s?

IIrc he was/is fiddling around with the date/time settings to force event assignments…

And there’s definitely something fishy in that screenshot as it’s normally not possible to reach 35 points from the dailies any more… So maybe even more “fiddling around” than just date/time settings ? :man_shrugging:

Or it’s an old screenshot?

Hmm… looking at the file name IMG_20251010_114832… I don’t think so… :man_shrugging:

( 2-21-2011, activate assignment, eat 4 semlas ), ( 2-22-2011, 2-23-2011, 2-24-2011, 2-25-2011, etc etc etc ‘’’
