So here’s some of my feedback after having played this game for about two months:
Graphics and atmoshpere is top notch
Gameplay, sound and the feeling of the weapons are superb
The game needs more to to do after finishing all missions and leveling up getting all skills. The reason I keep coming back is because of the first two points
Respec and/or the ability to keep leveling and getting more skills is something that needs to be implemented
Imho ammo should be unified for “regular” weapons, the added depth of different tiers of ammo isn’t really needed in this game
Multiplayer needs some sort of server browser. Joining a game where someone is AFK, dropping out, only to join the very same game over and over needs to be fixed
Don’t increase “difficulty” by simply adding more health/armor to the enemies and annoying effects like you did in the DLC. DOTS and attacks that keeps knocking you over isn’t really that fun
Look over the skills. Some are almost mandatory, like running speed and inventory size, and should most likely be added as a regular update to all characters. Try playing a MP game with people going from target to target without the speedboost. Let me tell you, it’s NOT fun
Remove the skills that brings more experience, and replace it with something else. I can see the issue with respec when you have skills like these.
GRG is too weak compared to the .50 6 star sniper when it comes to tanks. It’s come to the point that I rather use the GRG vs Hunters and Runners, rather than vs Tanks.
Runners, and possibly Hunters, should be able to enter buildings more consistently
The experimental 6 star GRG should have an alternative mode so that you can choose to fire one or two grenades
Look over the use of smoke grenades
Fix the resistance of clothes - give us a character STATS screen
When I start a new character, I like the fact that i can access the storage from my previous one. However, I don’t like the fact that I have to manually delete my previous save game to be able to start over from scratch. This needs to be fixed asap. A newgame+ of sorts needs to be implemented.
Characters that’s been manipulated with programs to max out all skills needs to be kicked from joining/hosting MP games
The ability to climb buildings would be great. So many times I’ve wanted to be able to get to a vantage point on the roof of a house…
Implement weapons that are powerful, but only useable in multiplayer. Artillery and mortars with a dedicated spotter comes to mind.
The bunkers are all empty once you finished the missions there. They need to be repopulated, and we need a reason to return to these places.
Increase storage space, and look over stacks. Some items cant stack, and take up way to much storage space to be worth it. Needs a rebalance for sure.
The look through walls attachment addon is neat, but mostly useless. One of the reasons is that it’s too sensitive as to which angle you’re looking.
Mines needs to do more damage
Special items should be able to be stacked, like most other items. Same issue here as with the boombox
Consider being able to use sniper scopes instead of the binoculars for hacking, scouting and so on
Let the enemy AI be more unpredictable. For example, I LOVE when tanks charge you, but currently that almost only happens when you take out all of their weapons
Overhaul the entire support system for MP - give players a good reson to actually go the support route instead of the all to common DPS one
Stop dropping clothes that you’ve already looted and unlocked
When hosting a MP game and you want to drop out, allow any of the other players in that game to take over the hosting instead of kicking everyone out
This is an interesting list, and I can see you’ve put a lot of time into it. I have a couple of questions about some of the suggestions.
What’s the issue with smoke grenades? and how would sentry guns fit?
The GRG is a ranged AoE, and as such isn’t that effective on a tank. It’s better for groups as you point out. I think the lack of stacking is to do with inventory balances. The game discourages hoarding.
In my personal experience, and the way I play the game (and most I’ve come across in MP), smoke grenades fills no role that flares and such can’t fill.
As for sentry guns and if they fit, probably not, I just find the idea cool!
As for the GRG, perhaps another ammo type would be needed to make use of them vs tanks, as HE rounds are more for lightly armored targets. In the military, we were supposed to use PPRJ vs armored targets, so it feels the game is lacking one ammo type for the GRG - feel free to drop the Smoke grenades for this ammotype - TY
I use smoke for cover. For example, I’ve had a tank and a harvester to deal with on one side, and a pair of dogs turned up and climbed high behind, sniping at me. When I climbed up to kill them, it brought me out of cover so the tank could shoot me. Tricky. I used a smoke grenade to create the shield that blocked the tank, so I could freely deal with the dogs, and then return back to my original cover. Similarly it’s handy for covering co-op buddies, depending what’s going on. I think it does have a use.
I feel that the ai and functional range of them has been reduced in the last few patches, though I can’t back that up. I suspect the game has been shrunk in an effort to fix crashing. As it’s also a console game, apparently for parity’s sake the PC version is limited. If that’s true it’s a pity. I’d love to see more interesting ai. I disagree that the robots should be getting into houses however. Doing that would change the mechanics a lot, for similar reasons to making the houses destructible. Sure, the idea is thrilling in those imaginary scenes, but cover has a role in the play and removing it would require other alterations to balance.
I second this. Make it a separate feature request. Might have a chance.
The reason is there. A lot of ammo, mines, grenades.
Generally I feel that dropping such a list shows that you have spent a lot of time with the game and possibly in the forum. I fear, it doesn’t do very much though. The devs won’t go through the list and think “huh, this guy really has it figured out. let’s do this, all of it (and check it off the list)”.
Focus on individual aspects, post a feature request, provide good arguments that show the consequences of the changes in the game. Make room for specific discussion. And maybe the requested feature or change will make it into the game.
FWIW, I could imagine GRG rounds with AP property that detonate inside an armored object. That would be great for tanks.

Your suggestions are not crazy and would not destroy this game.
A sentry gun would be interesting ( 1 per slot for balance purposes).
Agree with the storage either increase the Current limit or give a multiple caches I.e ammo, weapons and items caches or give us tabs for the cache so we aren’t endlessly scrolling down to the items we want from the cache.
