Ability to store weapons with attachments on them

There are a few weapons I enjoy using with certain attachments. Storing them with their attachments would be really nice so I can just swap weapons without having to find all the attachments again as well.

You can store weapons with attachments but it is not shown however. This is a big drawback in my opinion. I would add a mod if it did this for Plundra stored weapons.

If you only store the weapons you will be using and no extras of the same type, then you can store them with their attachments attached. But you can still pull out the attachments without knowing if they are attached to a weapon. And if you are storing a weapon, unload the ammo before moving it. When you pull it out of storage, you then need to select the ammo for it.

Doesn’t need another storage, just make it so you can see what is attached to the weapon when it is in storage. Also show what attachments are NOT attached to a weapon.

Indeed we need it.
Its a mess, there is no way to know what attachments are being used or not while they are stored with the weapons inside the storage.
A simple icon notification is enough to solve this.

I never use mods but if there was a mod for this one thing, I would use it.

This combined with a naming feature would be pretty awesome.

Naming feature for what?

They could use what we already have when we are carrying the weapon. It shows what attachments are on our weapons. They need to use the same thing when we are at the locker. If I put an AG4 with all the attachments on it, in the locker, and there are already 2-AG4s already in the locker I don’t know which one has what.

I noticed too after the update, the attachments do not stay on the weapons, you pull it back out of the locker and have to get all the attachments and put back on it to use them…That blows.

I think @Tudenom is talking about the ability to give weapons custom names, to differentiate different weapons with different attachments.

So, for example, if you had one AG4 set up with a 1-4x and barrel extension as a sort of DMR and another AG4 with a suppressor and iron sights, you could call the former the “Sniper AG4” and the latter the “Sneaky AG4” to easily tell them apart in storage.

Well, if you could just see quickly, that and which attachments are selected for a specific weapon, you wouldn’t need names.

In real you wouldn’t look at the weapons name either, but at which type it is or how it looks like.

Did you know that I like little stories?

“Has anybody seen Roseanne?”
“No. Who is she?”
“She is my gun.”
“What type of gun? How does ‘she’ look like?”
“I can’t tell you. I just know that her name is Roseanne, named after my girlfriend, quick, loud and dirty.”
“Do you mean the 1c Kpist over there?”
"Yes! Thanks. "
