Steam version.
As seen here, i’m at -82. If i reset it goes to -35 or so. If i follow the reset up with verifying the gamefiles, it removes the minus, but i end up with 35 skill points on a lvl 80 character. My secondary character also has negative skill points and behaves the same way. Is there a known fix for this?
Are you still able to apply skills with this negative amount?
Did you ever use any mods?
No mods. Can’t use skill points when they’re negative, the buy button is greyed out just like when you don’t have any points to spend. i though about trying to level up once to see what happens, but i don’t think this will magically fix anything.
What if you create a new (third, forth) character?
Do you also start with negative values?
New character just starts with 0 as it should. So it must have something to do with how many skillpoints i already have. Turns out i’m not the only one tho.

As Carni, who isn’t in the company any more, already wrote, that they’re looking into it, a fix could be part of january hotfix.
Until then: try a new character or continue leveling your old one. You shouldn’t have less than before the update, except you reset them and didn’t have a backup.
