I edited my previous post, because I did not read all in the email, my bad.
They marked it as solved, meaning they are looking into it. That’s most confusing, because Solved it is not.
It seems they are both not online. I can imagine that they also getting a bit fed up with fighting without the right means, while the dev team says they are looking in to it.
@TimData If there is information on here that you certainly want to keep, better get it while the forum still exists. A while back I made a downloadable website, with some of the stuff I wanted to keep for a while longer, but it not nearly complete. I do have a big database filled with photo, mission data, and other silly information i will keep a bit longer.
I am on Steam so if any of you like to become friends with me on Steam if like to contact me sometime for a chat or Gz-information when the forum is gone. Just look for Gysbert. Mind you I do only accept if I know who you are. I am already friends with some of the regulars. But the more the merrier.
That’s a brilliant resource to have, thank you for the link😀. I’d love to preserve it all but unfortunately don’t own a computer to store it upon. If we ever loose this place though, I’ll have to create a steam account . Looks like Xbox is going down this road anyway.
It is fun doing and discussing GZ stuff here, but (thanks for the invitation to Steam, @Gysbert ) I don’t think that I’ll move to another forum. Some old-timers “back then” made a discord group, where I hung out for a while, but I never got the same vibes as we have here.
I think what works here is, that we start out with GZ, then we deviate (quite a bit) , but gravity always pulls us back to GZ. That’s our common ground so to speak. And I think it is quite marvellous that a fairly old game can still facilitate that.
Is that the Gz-Illuminati group that @AliasDJA created? I’m still in that Discord group, but it’s no longer really about GZ. Still it is nice to ask something if there are people to ask.
So update for you all, I can’t change anything about approval to join the forums, that’s the bad news, good news is that I have added some words to the block and flag list.
Basically don’t say any airliner company name, the word “air-line” itself though will block you from posting with it. If any of yall do say it though i’ll clear it, though the thing for you, hopefully for a time being it should help stop it. As there’s more added I’ll probably add more to it but i’ll let you know until the issue of the spam is resolved, then I’ll clear it out if need be.
