Ammo boxes and military ammo bunkers

I noticed that you secretly nerfed those ammo containers aswell. Imo. they should give a full stack of ammo and now they only give you 30 / 60 bullets of ammo.

Also I dont really understand why inside a military facility, behind thick steel doors you find locked up concrete ammo bunkers and inside you find only 2-3 bullets of ammo. Makes no sense right? You already put a 4 hours ingame respawn time on it. So imo. inside those locked bunkers, inside military facilities there should be hundreds of bullets.

I would suggest at least 400-500 rounds of ammunitions. Its a good damn freaking military base and its behind thick steel doors and even locked up in a concrete bunker.

Well, the obvious reply is that they picked up all the ammo from the armouries to go out and fight the machines, and you are just picking up the leftovers. If you find an ammo factory, let us know.

You can play one of two ways - you can go forward, finding ammo as you go and looting off machines you kill, or you can go “shopping” before each mission. When I was doing the story I did the first (and there was enough ammo to get me through the next fight. Now, because I go looking for trouble I do the shopping thing, but the best place to do that is Normyra.

IRL our normal ammo scale was 80 rounds of 7.62 (four mags). Now you might be able to carry another 60 rounds in loose bullets, but that’d be your lot - you’d never be able to run carrying more. Ammo is heavy - you couldn’t carry 400 rounds of ammo and still run. 5.56 you could, but IRL that has half the punch, if that.

IRL you woudn’t need to waste 300 rounds on a stupid machine to destroy it (not talking about a tank) and no they didnt pick up all the ammo (story wise), cause they got supprised and where are all the dead bodies of those soldiers? or does sweden only has 20 people in its army? With the size of the military installations ingame there should be plenty of ammo left (at least inside those bunkers). I can agree that for the civilians and the police, but we are talking about the swedish army here.

IRL most countries have sitting hundreds of millions of bullets in their bunkers, where the usa has easy billions. Yes even the civilian services in the usa have billions (“It confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security has issued an open purchase order for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition.”) Wondering that the number is for the army, but I am pretty sure its an crazy high amount.

Now ok we are talking about sweden here. But having only 2-3 bullets left in an ammo container behind a heavy steel door? Makes really no sense. Poor sweden, they are not a nato member state and if they only have a that low amount of ammunition, then help them god if the russians would really attack

Simply put; gameplay balance. Realistically we should be able to hole up in those bunkers for decades, but it’s not that kind of game. You loot, move on, fight, come back later etc.

As long as you are new and follow the storyline that works great, but afterwards its just …

It’s not a bad idea though. I wouldn’t mind if the bunkers held more loot, and perhaps some enemies as well so they’d be like, small dungeons you’d have to work through. There’s definitely room for improvement
