Honestly, over my few months of playing the game I have noticed that the ammo crates (the placeable ones) are kind of weird. I mean, they do come in handy, but it just seems unrealistic. You drop a box about the size of two grown up heads mushed together and then use it and get about 4 rockets the size of 1 grown up head out of it.
I’ve never even tried using those to get rockets. I would say… maybe? If anything the amount of rockets could be limited to 2 or 3. I’ve always liked using them for other ammo types and never even tried it for rockets

be careful, the devs will hear you and make you wait 4 in game hours between clicks on them

You can get a max of 3 rockets out of one - one for each activation.

I’m alarmed by the fact that you just happened to have enough severed heads lying around to work this out.
