Ok so is it just me or whats up… after the last update ive noticed the ammo in the main ammo loot boxes are almost always the same 5.56 full or 7.62 full or the sniper kind or buckshot … never any in armor version or any other kinds how ois this happening ? are they only dropping ammo based on what guns are in your losdout ? i have a shotgun eqipped but it only drops buckshot never slug or bird …never any armor variants even though my 2 guns can take armor bullets ? whats going on please advise fellow robot hunters
They made it in the last update to where you only find one type of each ammo now, I believe for 50. bmg you only find armor piercing now, and you have to craft any other ammo type
Here is text of the patch notes
It is to force you to craft everything and to craft everything you are forced to do base defenses.
The years I have been on the forum there has never been a demand for more crafting or base defense. These additions to the game very effectively caused a lot of players to just stop playing the game.
The lack of traffic on the forum and steam confirms this. The last update killed the game.
maybe they can still go back and fix a few things or tinker around cant they ?? and also what happens if something really bugs out glitches out or crashes in game people have paid for the game so if its sumthing bad will someone still be around to monitor or fix it ?
They dont even fix the bugs they introduced, you think they will change some things based on our experience?
No…
And, no, there is no one else monitoring bugs.
That’s a great question, and it’s something a lot of GZ players worry about when the game runs into major issues or becomes literally unplayable. The studio in this case, Systemic Reaction (a division of Avalanche Studios) has unfortunately stopped both development and patch support, which is a hell of a shame.
So technically, if the developers have stopped working on the game but are still selling it, they still carry some level of responsibility under consumer law, especially if the game is fundamentally broken or doesn’t work on a supported platform. However, if the game is no longer being sold, the studio has shut down, or the game has been officially declared “end of life” (which GZ has been declared as being), then you’re unlikely to receive any further support. At that point, it’s treated much like a discontinued product, similar to outdated hardware or out of print media.
Avalanche Studios still has a live support feature tucked away on their website though and it’s actually helped me with a few questions, both about the game’s bugs and some lore stuff too. I’m not entirely sure if it’s a real person or just an automated system, but either way, it’s been useful for enlightening me. And of course, this community is always a great place to turn to for help as well!
