I get how some of the dailies are not specifically suited to multiplayer, like Recycling objects, blowing up cars, etc, but you should still be able to get credit for doing so when not in your own game. This is not the case, and there are a few dailies that are very much keyed to multiplayer activity, like base assaults and defense missions, which don’t consistently give credit in multiplayer scenarios.
- Medium base assault? No.
- Base Assault using X weapon? Yes.
- Medium Base Defense? Maybe. There was one recently where neither of us got credit in either game.
- Repair 1/5 structures in a Base Defense? No. Your own game only. Why?
- Get to 50 ph while on a bicycle? This one works. Why? Why this one and not others?
- And most puzzling of all, Defeat a while using a weapon. NO! No credit. WTE-LF?
And again, the misc dailies where you have to craft/recycle/launder/etc something do or don’t work at random. They’re not specifically a problem, because they can be done easily enough during wind-down after the big one’s are handled, or while they’re being handled.
This is particularly noticeable after a content patch because those universally break any of the dailies that were allowing you to get credit across instances. It takes weeks or months for the game to start allowing us to make progress in the dailies in one another’s games, and until then, we have to do them twice or three times, once in each game, until we all get credit. This is a massive unwanted time sink.
And no, this isn’t the first time I’ve complained about this exact thing. It will NOT be the last time, either.
