I shot it down. It is dead, then I go To loot it. Then it is gone and I didn’t even loot anything and there was no marker when I destroyed it

@Madchaser , you’re right; I found the old post I remembered seeing about that field radio trick. What they did was to go into the hatch, drop a radio, reveal a vulture, go and DESTROY the vulture, then fast-travel BACK to the hatch, spawn another vulture. So, technically, only one vulture at any given time. But you don’t need to open another base to get it, with this trick.
I wouldn’t know, I’ve never had enough free time at once to destroy two vultures in one sitting! Have to play when I can . . .

There are no values for chances. It’s rng, so it’s possible. I can’t remember from where I got mine, but it wasn’t from a tyrant.
Maybe from a rival, but I’d bet I got it from a base assault.
How do you even get guns from base Assaults?
When you finish a base, you receice a reward.
Directly into your pocket.
You should see some splash screen at the top center of the screen with all ressources you got… And the weapon you eventually got.
Then why didn’t I get any guns after defeating so many fnix bases?
Maybe bad luck.
The chance for experimental weapons is higher with a higher tier of base.
I also had times where I didn’t get any weapon, then I had times where I just got the newest experimentals… And then I also had times with all the same stuff as usual…
But as soon as you destroy the fnix command center, you should get at least ressources with a chance for an additional experimental weapon.
I have never gotten even a normal gun from fnix base assaults
You don’t get normal guns as reward, just experimental ones.
Idk if the characters level plays a role, at least for getting experimentals from rivals it’s at least lvl25.
The sledgehammer is an exclusive reward from reapers, the Meusser from vultures.
I can’t remember if you also need to start the final showdown missions in order to be able to get the ai76, HP5 and sjöqvist from rivals, tyrants or base assaults.
And I can’t remember if you also have a chance to get experimentals from base defenses.
In the past, when there were no base assaults and just a single resistance base to defend, base defenses also were a source for experimental weapons (and experimental ammo receips, which you now just can craft).
You have much better chances of getting experimentals from high level bases too, make sure you let your bases level up

I’d say it depends on the weapons, but of course it’s possible.
No, Idk. Take another look into your inventory. Never had this happen.
After crafting I took out my 9mm glock and tried to put shock ammo into it but it showed no signs Of that ammo, even tho I spent materials on that.
@Madchaser, Is’t it so that since shock ammo is Experimental ammo, you need a experimental handgun?
I just crafted shock ammo and tested it with my Experimental Klaucke 17. The ammo is placed in our backpack.
If the crafting succeeded this message below will appear when you close the crafting window.
You see it works with the Exp. Klaucke 17.
With my 5c Möller PP it did not work. I haven’t got a 5c Klaucke 17 to test, but I suspect that Exp. Ammo only works with Exp. Weapons.
The moller uses .32.
You don’t need an experimental weapon for experimental ammo.
