Are the new experimentals harder to get?

Honestly unless you have some great weapons it’s probably just gonna take a while. If you’re playing on guerilla difficulty that will made a difference as well

First of all this Is my first vulture boss.
Second of all I don’t even know what are the weak sports.

I used 5c al76, 4c pvg 90, 6c rocket launcher,
5c aytomatgevär 5, 5c hp5, 5c sjöqvist, 4c pump shotgun(partly), 3c älgustare (partly)
And that’s it.

It’s the same as for the firebirds.
The additional difficult is just the higher healthpoints and the waves of Lynx with the shield beacons you have to destroy. And the turrets on the ground.

Do you have any augmentations installed on the 4c or 5c versions? If possible, use gold Titan toppler.

Use less different weapons.

If possible, use a 5c rocket launcher with Titan toppler.

I guess you don’t have any other 6c versions?
Oh and do you have any of the dlc-weapons?

A 6c kvm59 could help a lot… Or a 5c pm71 (dlc) with Titan toppler augment.

Shotguns or the Älgstudsare won’t help much. Well, the shotguns could be ok for the Lynx. The ag5 should just be used if you have experimental 5.56 ammo (Heat).

I got no DLC, no 6c kvm 59.btw Is titan toopler augument good on 3c kvm 59?

Titan toppler augment improves damage against great machines for any gun you apply it on. So yes, a 3c kvm with that augment is better against vultures than one without the augment.

But will the augumented kvm deal greater damage than 5c al76 with no auguments?

No idea.
Compare the value-bars of the 3c kvm with the 5c ai76. If they are equal, I would say yes. If not… Idk. Of course if also depends on the level of the augmentation.

Do you own alpine unrest dlc (with himfjäll as new region)?

There are almost just apocalypse class machines which should give you higher chances for getting a 5c kvm59.

No DLC. But Is there a chance for them to drop?

Of course there is still a chance.

Concentrate on apocalypse class machines: hunters, harvesters and tanks, and you should be able to get one some day.

  • North of Älgbacken control point (next to östervik) there often is an apoc Harvester and therefore also hunters.

  • East of mården command Bunker there usually is an apoc Tank.

  • At the airfield often is an apoc Tank and hunters.

  • East/south east of Anl 118 (in marshlands) there often are apoc machines.

Just as a few examples.

Is the “sweet” spot on älgustare rifle Last Green Led or yellow Led?

Ah, you mean the experimental Meusser?
Hard to say… Idk.

The yellow one is the one you wanna land on

Depending on how you play, you may also want to wait. Augments cost resources, and unlike resources used to build bases, they are not recoverable. Once you mod that 3c weapon, you can’t get the resources back, or transfer the mod to a newer, better quality weapon. That’s not a big deal for some resources, depending on your tolerance for farming, but I think Titan Toppler gold level requires a LOT of cement, which means a lot of base mission grinding.

EDIT: My mistake. It’s Structure Destructor that needs the cement :upside_down_face: But my point still stands. You have to weigh spending now versus banking for later. Depends on your play style and goals!

If you’re not into farming/grinding, you might want to just leave the Vulture alone for a while, play the story, or farm/explore in other parts of the map. Wait until you get a 5c and then mod that. Keep banking resources while you wait for it. Östertörn is large enough to find lots of things to do!

Yo guys I finished vulture but it dropped from the sky on to a fnix base and it just… disappeared. U know what Is this bug?

Take the base out and it should reappear.

And at the end I took out the base and no sing of that vuktuee

There is definitely a bug where “live” rivals/tyrants roaming the map will disappear. They remain on the map as a marker, but when you visit the location in-person to engage them, they’re just not there. Mosty likely they wandered “under” the map or disappeared through some terrain bug and just aren’t reachable.

What you’re describing isn’t a known or common bug, but the game is far from perfect (as a little browsing on the forums will tell you!) and weird glitches can happen all the time.

Fallen rivals won’t persist if you quit the game and come back. If you destroy them, then the marker/banner should remain where the carcass is. I’ve had to rely on that to find a rival to loot after a fighting a large crowd of machines. Not sure what happened here.

If you feel like the game cheated you, and that it owes you, there is a little workaround I think you can use to spawn multiple vultures. When you’re in the base hatch, drop a field radio. After you spawn a vulture, destroy the base, then fast travel back to the radio. If you have enough Soviet coordinate data, you should be able to spawn another vulture without having to do another base assaut (although note that you WILL need the extra soviet coordinate points).

Happy hunting!

It shouldn’t be possible to get 2 vultures, even with that special way. The terminal only allows one tyrant of each type at a time.
