[Aurora Project] Being able to assign shortcuts for direct healing

> [Project Aurora] Suggestions to improve Generation Zero <

Greetings to all.

The so-called “[Aurora Project]” is a set of ideas divided into several Posts, where they will be treated individually and precisely. It is very important to understand that these suggestions are my way of understanding and improving Generation Zero, and of course any other opinion is totally valid as well. For this reason, I please ask the maximum possible respect for these Posts that I am going to detail, and if someone wants to comment, I would appreciate it if they read the entire Project, all the Posts with the Label “[Aurora Project]” and written by me, to understand its objective.

More posts will be added over time and with new ideas. I accept contributions from other users who send them to me by Private Message to continue supporting Generation Zero with new proposals.

Without further ado, thank you for your attention and see you at AURORA PROJECT.

Currently, to heal yourself in Generation Zero, you must put a medkit on a key from 1-8, “change item” and use the medikit. It’s honestly very cumbersome and time consuming, and it’s something I’ve been told by every single person I’ve recommended the game to.

It would be wonderful to be able to assign 1-2 shortcuts to assign 1-2 different medkits to those keys, and when you press them you use the assigned medikit directly, without having to go through an “item change”. In my personal case, I would assign and (the two side mouse buttons) to two different medkits, and that would speed up gameplay and make everything much more organic. Two buttons completely apart from the 8 that we already have for the object wheel, buttons to which we can assign a shortcut with the key that we want.

**This could be a new part of the interface, which I’d like to talk about in a future post that I haven’t written yet, but will link to here when I’m done.

Modifications may come to this Post in the future, and will be added as an answer and / or edit.

Remember once again, that these suggestions are my way of understanding and improving Generation Zero, and of course any other opinion is totally valid as well. For this reason, I please ask the maximum possible respect for these Posts that I am going to detail, and if someone wants to comment, I would appreciate it if they read the entire Project, all the Posts with the Label “[Aurora Project]” and written by me, to understand its objective.

Thanks for your time and attention, and until next time. Greetings.

Hi,

The way your suggested idea works for pc, it doesn’t work for console.
Try to think into all directions when trying to improve a game.
