For the Axis weapons the KR98 marksman rifle the STG44 automatic assault rifle and the panzer Faust rocket launcher.
For the Allies weapons the M1 Garand marksman rifle the Thompson smg and the colt 1911 pistol.
You know these weapons would be about 40-50 years out of date?

Yes I do but a game like this allows weapons like these to be used when guerilla tactics are being used. People use what the are able to get there hands on.
True but you still would need the ammo for it. I wouldn’t trust 50 year old ammo.

I’d say leave “Axis and Allies weapon packs” to other games…
First we’re still talking about Sweden in the 80s and I don’t think either these weapons were really a thing over there.

If we are to use ww2 weapons I rather would like a pack with old swedish weapons. Because late 80s they where still in use in limited numbers by the homeguard. Or had recently been faced out and put in storage waiting for destruction. Gevär m/96, rifle based on the mauser and in use until late 90s. K-pist m/39, the swedish name for the suomi smg and still in use in the 80s. Pistol m/40, a licensed copy of the Lahti L-35 from Finland. Taken out of service in the 80s because they where falling apart due to use of too the rounds being used had more power than the guns being constructed for.
Normal axis allies weapons are abundant in other games so I prefer this to be a more unique game when it comes to weapons and gear. But still if I had a Lahti pistol I would throw it away as soon as I found a klaucke or Möller. Why use old weapons when you can find new and better ones without a problem. There is after all a reason why they became replaced.
