40km/h cruise speed on flat road is a speed of trained professional on a road bike, not a random teenager on steel city bike. Actually, I don’t see why speed indicator even exists, but if it does it’s better to be more accurate
And running speed in this game is OK?

The bikes do wheelie’s and endo’s ( Stoppies ) it’s great addition to G-Zero
You don’t see your running speed in km/h, so you can only guess what it actually is (which I personally don’t care). But on the bike you do. That’s the only difference
I guess kids back then didn’t have gen zero so they could bike more. Also our characters were supposedly military trained. Don’t really think it matters much though, after all we’re fighting a freaking army of bots singlehandedly. Realism isn’t really much of a factor anymore.

Yeah, back then kids had Super Mario Bros, Castlevania, and Battledoads were around the corner. Today’s kids don’t know what “hardcore” actually is
