Platform:PS4

Description:I started up the game after a long time not playing it. I bought the as soon as I saw it on console years ago. I was in the F23 Överby Air Base. When my frames suddenly Tanked hard! I remembered playing this game in this excat area in the past and it was running so smoothly. I only wish you fix the frames issues. I know alot of people are on yall about it, but I just want yall to know. No matter what! I will always love the games yall make. I hope yall have a wonderful day and everything goes extremely well with Generation Zero.

Steps To Reproduce:I was in the F23 Överby Air Base safe house and as soon as I left the safe house. I took a left heading mostly west with a notch to north. When I was near the two hangers between the mission “Flying Blind” and the safe house. That’s when I started losing major frames.

OK, here’s a couple of basic first steps to trouble shoot the issue.

First, try to fast travel to another area. If that doesn’t work, try using that character on a new world save. If that doesn’t solve the issue, it might be an issue with that character, so try creating a new character and try it out on both the old and new map. Unfortunately if none of that solves anything, you may want to back up your save (which if PS4 is anything like the xbox systems, that should be done automatically through backup cloud saves,) and reinstall the game.

I’d try everything on that list before the reinstall, but if you have a fairly quick internet connection, you might just give the reinstall a shot right off the bat. My internet sucks, so it’s always the last thing I try, lol.

But maybe it’s just a harvester that got stuck. Combined with the low power of the ps4 it could easily run in to fps issues.
I just had it once, but I can’t remember if it was on ps4 or even on ps5.
