You’re a scientist working at FOA and with the increased focus on improving AI the Army has decided to throw an unhealthy amount of funding your way. What robots do you build that could make for interesting opponents? The best suggestions will get their names posted on the cafeteria notice board at FOA 5.
Here are some suggestions:
FLYER, designation “Vittran”
- Loitering at high altitude over open areas, such as fields.
- Swooping melee attack with bleeding effect. Successful melee attacks will summon more Flyers.
- Excellent detection range in the open. Avoids woods and urban terrain. Quickly gives up searching for anyone who hides.
- High damage resistance.
SCREAMER, designation “Larmrobot 2”
- About as small as, or smaller than, the Tick.
- Lies perfectly still but periodically scurries to a different position.
- Upon detecting an enemy it stands up and creates a whistling noise while incinerating itself to create an orange light equal to a burning flare - alerting any robots nearby.
- Often found near Tanks and important installations.
COOKER, designation “Strålningsvapen”
- Once within range it goes stationary and armours up while initiating its attack:
- High frequency AOE attack that builds up over 15 seconds unless interrupted (1-5 blurred vision, 6-10 also damage over time, 11-15 also reduced speed until finally Knocked Over at 15 second mark. Followed by short ping and five second reset before restart.)
- The five second reset can be initiated manually by players with the “E” action up close.
- Paired with groups of Runners.
