Can I somehow transfer the game world save from one computer to another?

I recently switched to a new computer and I have a world save on my old computer on Steam and I would like to continue it, but on the new computer I downloaded the game and I thought I would have a game save via Steam Cloud, but I don’t and I don’t know if it’s possible to transfer the save somehow?

Sure can. About ten months ago Windows 10 decided to frag itself during an update so I had to cleanse and burn the system drive and re-install. Luckily my documents folder backup was on my data drive so it was easy to copy over the save file before running the re-installed game for the first time.

You will find the Avalanche folder in My Documents. The save game is in the GenerationZero folder.

I can’t find it, could you write exactly where to look for it because I go to the generation zero folder and there’s nothing there

*%USERPROFILE% \ Documents \Avalanche Studios\GenerationZero\Saves\ *

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Avalanche Studios\GenerationZero\Saves\

The game save files are in the map with a long number.

yes, it still didn’t help me, I still don’t have your save on my old computer

Just copy and paste the above url into Explorer. And then open the map with the long ID-number.
It should look like this:
savegame files

Can you still start the game with your progress on your old PC?

But if you can’t find the game saves they must have been deleted. You could try a program like “Undelete” to recover it.

well, on the old computer I had the files you showed in the picture, so I copied them and put them on the new computer and still nothing

The game is installed and you already started it at least once.
Is the folder structure there as described?
Is there one folder with many number in its name with the savegame-files?
Did you just replace the savegame-files in this folder or did you move the complete folder into the “saves”-folder and deleted the other folder?

Well, on the old computer I copied the files with the save and turned on the new computer, I found the place where these files were, I deleted the ones that were already there and inserted the ones from the old computer

Just the files, not the whole folder?
Maybe that’s the fault and the name of the folder also plays a role.

Try to rename it like the one on your old computer.

I mean, I moved the entire folder from the old one to the new one
