Can we switch hosting to solve XP sharing problem?

Hi, my group of 4 friends began a coop game of Gen Zero last month. Although we’ve loving it, over the weeks we noticed that the player hosting the game on his PC seemed to gain more XP than the rest of us. So I researched this discrepancy online and it appears to be a known issue. So can we solve the issue by rotating who hosts the game? Or is all coop data only hosted on the original host’s PC?


However, do note that whoever is hosting the game, their personal (solo) mission progress is taken as a baseline. Essentially, GZ co-op works as an extension of solo play.
