Platform: pc
so im on xbox app for pc i downloaded generation zero i got a bug on my old world to where i cant claim base or do the misson building blocks i made a new world and i didnt want it to happen a sec time so i looked up where the save files on for xbox app so i can back up my save file i put it in a folder i copyed it and now when i try to open the game it just gets stuck right when you sign in so please help i dont want to lose my safe file

pc specs
Graphics card: geforce gtx 1660 super
Cpu: i5 10400F
Ram: 8gb
Os:Windows 11 home

You said it gets stuck when you login.
You mean a crash or is it just not doing anything?

Also the game saves your savefile on a server, when you delete a savefile in your game files you can start the game and it will download a backup from said server. (syncing)

But if the savefile on the server is corrupted you can try to play the game offline and then online again to force it to update the server file

when i login it show the save icon then dose nothing

You made a backup of your save file?
Then you should uninstall the game and delete the original folders.

Reinstall it and start again. Usually it should rebuild the files then.

It could also be a firewall or antivirus blocking a connection to the account for the FMTel tasks (< name omitted).

is there a way i make my firewall allow gen zero if so what do i do

Try something else first:

  • Log in with your Avalanche apex connect account.
  • Select to delete your account (you may stop deletion process within 24hrs)
  • start GZ
  • you should be asked if you want to stop deletion process. Select the option to restore it.

If that works, the connection is fine.
