Was in the bunker in the first large city (stravdohm?), with the objective to investigate the bunker to determine where everyone went; reactivated the power but was unable to find anything.
Exited game for the day via “exit to desktop”. When I loaded in, my inventory seemed to be “loading” (spinny progress bars on all slots). I could change from a primary weapon to a pistol, but HUD did not reflect ammo or weapon. Inventory was empty. Character level reset to 1, allocated skill points were gone.
Well that might be in connection with the game not performing an extra save when exiting to desktop.
If you exit to the menu the game will be saved on exit again.
But all in all it’s somewhat odd as you should have met several occasions ingame to perform an autosave, e.g. picking up stuff using your Plundra, etc. so it should not have been wiped back to the start.
