Character I Plan On Writing A Story About

A while ago I decided to give my character in Generation Zero some lore, and then I got my friend to do some art for him, so now I can share this character sheet

This is the character I plan on writing the story about. For some info about his story, none of the gear he currently wears he came with, he has commandeered every bit of equipment he uses except a pistol which he has long since discarded. He still wears thy symbol of the Utti Jaegers, and on Ostertorn it has become synonymous with him amongst the resistance, and Jaeger has become his nickname.

Fun fact: I have decided that he does not wear the gas mask shown in game, instead wearing the Finnish M61 mask, which I chose specifically because it makes sense for the time AND I actually own a Model 3 version IRL, so I am familiar with it

I am going to write the story soon, but right now I’m really just trying to figure out how to structure the whole story in general. I have some ideas, but nothing is concrete RN

His weapon loadout is my current lategame loadout, but with some lore. Comprised almost entirely of experimental weapons because I play this game too much tbh:
Experimental KVM 89: A weapon he stuck with due to familiarity, as it is the standard LMG of the Jeager units , and he was always an Autorifleman. He modified it to remove a lot of the safety systems and heat sinks, originally to make it lighter but the efficiency increase was a welcome side effect.
Experimental 12G Pump: Modified for close quarters combat, for a while this was his primary weapon. Modified by him using plans he found while inside FOA 2. He has no clue how it works, but it does.
5C Granatgevär m/49: Used for taking out the bigger enemies, he is quite proficient with it. He only carries a couple rounds for it, because realistically one round should down a tank or something (Like seriously a GZ tank VS any 1980s tank or AT round, that robot is screwed. The only reason it survives is because we’re only using HE in game)
Experimental Klaucke 17: Mainly a tick killer, but also good for peppering enemies before getting close. He uses it sparsely, but he does still use it.
M62 Bayonet / Combat Knife: The only weapon he brought with him he still has, a leftover from his time as a jaeger. Despite being a bayonet, the only weapon it works on, the Finnish Rk-62, is nowhere to be found on Ostertorn, so he exclusively uses it as a combat knife.

As for where he stores his weapons, he stores his 12G and recoilless rifle slung over his shoulder, the Klaucke in a left leg holster, and his knife in a sheath on the right leg. He usually slings his KVM 89 in the patrol position. Also, despite being thin, he is somewhat strong, which he has to be because his full loadout with just the weapons would weight somewhere around 54 pounds (Or 24 Kilos), which is why he primary focuses on ambush tactics that minimize the need for mobility.

He is also ambidextrous with a left hand preference, I am also like this, and I think it’s a cool character detail

I feel like I’m a member of Shark Tank

Great, I love to read your story. :coffee:

You might want to add your character’s profile to this topic.

You should make a storyboard. This is the red line what leads you through the story. Write in short sentences what the Story would be. It is the Story in short. You can make it in parts. That are waypionts to them you should work.

Here for Example a part from my Storyboard of “The Midsummer Incident”

Storyboard
The Midsummer Incident

Gösta Petersson is found dead on a beach near Östervik. The two detectives from the Stockholm Homicide Squad, Liv Svensson and Mikkel Havlund, are investigating the case.
A few days later, two hunters are found dead near FOA 53. They have something in common with the dead Gösta Petersson, who worked as a computer specialist at FOA 53.
All three were killed with a slashing and stabbing weapon. The two hunters had been beheaded.
Mikkel Havlund finds a track in the forest that looks like the track of a walking excavator. It runs very close to the crime scene.
Mikkel has a suspicion. He questions the professor at FOA 53 who worked with Gösta Petersson.
One day later, Gösta Petersson’s car is found in Arkelstorp. After Mikkel and Liv have inspected Gösta’s car, they drive to FOA 53 to question Frederik Holberg, as he was Gösta Petersson’s disciplinary superior.
Frederik Holberg is quite reserved. Like his henchman Löjtnant Kai Arvidsson, he belongs to a sect that calls itself the Iron Church. It is led by Drako Ivarsson, who wants to breed a new, superior race of people by uniting with a computer. He wants to gain control of Sweden. Holberg is playing a double game; he was actually preparing a military coup to use the machines to depose the existing government and take control himself. The Iron Church is just a means to an end for him, as it provides him with its secret location in a grotto below the Klacksundsfyren lighthouse as a base.
After the conversation with Mikkel and Liv, he calls a meeting with everyone involved in the project. A Hunter robot had broken down and was untraceable in a large, impassable forest area near FOA 53. Holberg fears discovery because the robot had massacred two campers before it broke down. Arvidsson is frantically searching for the robot.

Good luck
