Collectables issues

I play on ps4, and after the last update all collectables are gone… just disappeared. I was collecting all the collectibles for the trophy and was all fine before update.

im now on farmland region, and when i arrive at a new place, it appears on the screen that there is a collectible in the area. I spent a long time looking for him and I didn’t find it, so I decided to watch a video on the internet to see where he was, and it just isn’t there. I went to another point of interest that there would be a collectible and the same thing. I repeated this in a few more, always with the same problem … It shows that there is a collectible in the area but even though I am sure of the place watching a video, it is not there.

Anybody else have this issue after update?

Have you checked the collectables in your LOG? Are they gone? Or is it only the misleading info on the screen?

Just out of curiosity, is there any collectibles which only can be found if you got the FR ?

@rc4 I have all collectibles available before update (PS4), but yesterday I was roaming the Farmlands and suddenly at a farm the game stated a collectibles to be found, I didn’t find it, after a quick search I found the exact location for it, but it wasn’t there…
I thought it might be a collectibles related to the FR, but it actually might be a bug instead…

Fixed point locations, unless someone else has collected them in your map with you being host.

I’d also ref the special map for exact co ordinates

Everything i got before the update are ok, remains in my log.

But the ones that i still needed to collect, from the videos that i checked after dont find, are no longer where they are supposed to be. The information that there is a collectable on the location appears on the screen when I arrive at the area, but the collectables is not there to take.

Playing solo yesterday, nobody could have picked it up.
Just curious if there are some collectibles which only can be picked up if you have the FR DLC?

Ah I see, I know there were new weapon additions - and of course the love letters and survivor notes to collect…

Aha, thanks @AliasDJA then it most likely was one of those love letters or survival notes that I couldn’t find since I haven’t got the FR (yet).

exactly like this… I was able to loot collectables on farmlands before the update, but cant find no one more after the update. But i dont know if this is releated to FR, dont make sense if you think in the list of trophy … was there before FN

If you can’t find the “old” collectibles available pre Nov 2020 update it certainly sounds like a bug.
As I said I have found every collectibles pre this last update, so the one I couldn’t find most certainly was linked to the FR, so I can’t confirm it is a bug unfortunately.

Hey dude, i double checked after your reply, and you was completly right. All collectables that show on screen and i dont found was from FR DLC. I found a old video pre FN with all collectables, check other spots and could found.

The biggest problem of this is for new players like me, who will have a message on screen inform something linked to a DLC but dont inform nothing about a dlc collectable only… Now i will follow the old video when i dont found a area with collectable to dont have to do a infinite search for something something that dont exist in my game for now.

I really appreciate your reply, if it weren’t for her I would be looking for that I don’t know for how long… thanks dude

Totally agree, it shouldn’t be stating a collectible (linked to the FR) to be found when not having FR.
