By chance i noticed that by hitting “G” i can make my companion go places.

I cant find any companion commands documented anywhere and they are not in the keybindings.

I need help, what other commands are there and how do they work?

With the latest update we got the ability to mark locations.

This can be used to mark targets or places to go for your teammates and for your companion.

There currently aren’t any other commands.

  • With the G-key you can send the companion to that marked spot.
  • You can also point the companion to an enemy which it then will attack. The enemy will be marked with an yellow exclamation mark.
  • To call the companion back to you, point the marker next to you.

The “G” command is very usefully to use the runner as an ambush trigger.

For stealth, I position the runner where it can’t be seen by machines. Say it is a hunter or two on patrol. I flank the machines and then use the G command for the runner to come out of hiding and “mark” the target. While the targets are aiming at my runner, I strike. Very productive.

Can also set a waypoint for the runner to be exposed to the machines, Once the machines go into combat mode and target my runner, I set a new waypoint away from the machines and the machines chase after my runner. Once again I flank and destroy the machines…hopefully before they destroy my runner.

There are also simple tricks you can make the runner do, but are as useless as the dance moves.
