From A to B with the boat.
My companion can’t jump into the boat, but at the other side he suddenly accompanies me.
When I return to A, he isn’t able to follow me and gets killed.
Now I’ve got to go back to B to rescue him.
Probably I need to pick him up before going to that boat.
Why would you abandon your pet on the other side like that. Of course he’s gonna try jumping in and swimming to you. He doesn’t know he’s gonna sink like a rock. BAD OWNER, BAD. Shame on you for not picking him up first.

There are many occasions where you have to pick him up, in order to make sure he is not harmed.
