i wasn’t aware the ps4 version had an auto repair tool for save files, also this could be more of a problem due to my having a digital copy of the game
It does not.
Generation zero has an auto repair for save files that will kick in most of the time after the game crashes, its been introduced in 2021 or early 2022.
But sometimes that might not be enough.
Was everything ok after this or not at all?
the game still lags occasionally but it runs properly otherwise after completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game even with using the old save data
The “lag” is a feature in GZ lol, its normal, you managed to keep your save intact, thats what was important.
