Either just a button to push all items up or a full-featured sort that sorts ammo by type and weapons, I dunno, in a row. It’s not too annoying as it is, the inventory isn’t very big, but it’d save a little time when finding new weapons and at the storage box - actually, a sort for storage would be super awesome, all of my loot is all over the place.

I agree. The storage needs it the most. Player inventory really only needs an option to turn off auto sort because sometimes when you manually sort the spaces they do not always add up so it gets re-arranged to fit the new items when getting full.
Alternatively they could make designated sections in the inventory. A section for weapons,a section for ammo, a section for med packs and a section for salvaged parts and so on. This I think would require making the inventory have more space but it would be a bit cleaner looking and more sufficient.

The most annoying about this is ammo of all guns are not adding up in your gun when it supposed to be. For example, I counted about 1,500 ammo for my HP5 in my inventory but it only let me to carry about 1,000 ammo.
Even with odd number of ammo in inventory didn’t help. I wish there’s a feature where you can combine ammo like Resident Evil.

On Xbox even if you spend the time to sort it all out in your carry inventory as soon as you loot something it goes nuts again…Very annoying I must say. Plundra is a pain true but that only is an issue at the safe house. While carry inventory effects battle… That all said I think since the October update was such a homerun that maybe a quality of life update maybe needed @LadyNibiru has talked about the gas mask, this thread about inventory, a thread about marking chalk for bunkers & towns & various map ideas/fixes are maybe somethings that need a little love from the Team…At least that is my opinion.

Quick ammo swap button for held weapon , Tap to reload Hold to choose ammo Type , done deal aye

If they will fix inventory management to not waste time i will buy game. Ammuniton replacing and not adding automaticcly are the worst i think
