Crash on weapon switch

Just tried playing this game again after 3 years. I loaded in fine to a multiplayer then after about 20 minutes i started crashing. Now everytime i launch the game and start any mode SP or MP when i press tab to open up wheel or use the scroll wheel to switch weapons I crash to desktop.

PC, Threadripper 3970x, 64gb of ram, 2080TI so my specs are fine.

There happened much in the last three years. Did you use a fresh savegame?

it was the same save…maybe i will try making a new game

Could be worth a try, but maybe you should wait until the next update. Announcement was last week, release date could come this week.
