Crash when attempting to load into gameplay

Observed Behaviour:
I cannot load into active gameplay since downloading the new FNIX DLC update. Before that I could play the game just fine. This not only affects my current character, I’ve tried creating a new one and I could still see a crash when attempting to enter gameplay.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Launch Generation Zero and proceed into the main menu.
  2. Select Continue and observe a crash.

Expected Results:
The game loads into active gameplay.

Notes:

  1. I’ve tried verifying as well as redownloading the entire game with no results.
  2. The issue seems to be occurring regardless of selected graphics or gameplay settings.

Hardware:
Intel i7 2600 3.4GHz
16 GB RAM
Nvidia 1070 6GB
Windows 10 64bit

I am seeing the exact same thing. Game crashes to desktop instantly. Game cannot be played in any form.

i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz (8 CPUs)
16Gb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 - 8Gb VRAM
Win10 64bit

Cancel my comment. I had a NEXUS Mod installed. Removing that the game works fine.

@fractal - have you any mods installed? If so you should try not loading them in the launch options.

So I’ve had another look and it turns out deleting the game didn’t delete two mods.

Removing those files then redownloading fixed the issue.
