Could you add maybe a 5 percent chance that a damaged machine will attack all other machines. Especially if you hit the sensor area. This would be simulating a malfunction in its targeting system due to damage. Should lead to rare but interesting gameplay.

In a way, they actually already do.
- Machines with AoE attacks (e.g missile pods, mortars) doesn’t care at all if another machine is in the blast radius.
- Machines doesn’t hold their fire if another machine blocks their line of fire.
I’ve used both on many occasions, mainly when battling several machines at once.
In former case, i sometimes lure runners/hunters in the blast radius of harv/tank missiles/mortar.
In latter case, it’s common tactics for me to run behind one tank/harv and let another tank to use it’s weaponry to damage and effectively also destroy the machine i hide behind.
