Day one editions on PS4 question

I have had the earliest edition of the game on PS4. I remember it was stated that for this edition (or the time period of purchase) all future DLC was going to be included (free). Is that still the case or will I need to purchase any of the DLC in the future? I have been trying to find more information on this but I am not able to find anything on this through Google…if a Dev or someone that knows this could help me out on this it would be appreciated.

I want to make sure that I have everything out of the game that I want at the very least. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Don’t get confused by the word DLC.
There have been many free updates which have changed the game in a way I don’t know from other games. These new missions, optical revamps, new items, weapons, machines and new features all come free for every version of the game.

But there were many paid DLC, too. Optional stuff like apparel, weapons, equipment, more missions, a new location, buildables…
These have to be paid by everyone.

That is not an answer to my question. I am aware how the free “updates” work and how paid “DLC” works. When I purchased the game on PS4 there was a version or a time period for the game when people could purchase it and get future “DLC”. That is how it was phrased. If by chance it was meant to be said as future “updates” than I would like clarification. As far as I know,I have all paid DLC and free updates. Not that I really need the guns or clothes but the motorcycles I want.
I have not done the update yet but if I see or find motorcycles than I will have my answer and relay it here for anyone else asking this same question.

Ok. That’s nothing I know off.
And nothing I would believe on.
At least I know no other PS4 - Game where you become able to get not yet released DLC for free afterwards.

With some games you get keys for a free DLC which is available at the same time, but not for an unknown future.

This is just my opinion and my feeling about that. Maybe you’re true, but I never heard about that.
