More of a cosmetic request:
I guess the lantern model used in-game is from the Hunter game. It’s rather bulky and decidedly from 2010 or later.
I’d suggest to replace it with one that looks more eighties period-correct. It’s surprisingly difficult to even find an adequate replacement, but I think those might serve as a starting point:
