Possibly similar and/or related to the “vanishing ammo” bug.
I had a dual IR/x-ray module for my .50 cal scope. Used it constantly. Then, after logging in one day it was just gone. I can’t say if the last shutdown was a crash (I mostly experience crashes when joining a friend in co-op, none when going solo) or a normal shutdown, but I do know it had been a few days between sessions.
Unfortunately I don’t have any exact times and/or screenshots, but the module was definately gone and I had to replace it with another one I found later. The scope was fine though.
