Disconnects my harddrive

Steps To Reproduce: play the game, open menu and/or try to change apparel

Images / Videos: N/A

Host or Client: Host

Players in your game: 1-3

Specifications: Original Xbox One, Seagate 4TB External Harddrive

Summary: Whenever the game crashes it causes my harddrive to disconnect.

Troubleshooting: I moved the game from my external harddrive to the internal one and it froze less often but it still caused by external harddrive to disconnect when it crashed.

Note: when the game was on the external harddrive I couldn’t change my apparel, any attempt caused the game to crash. When I moved the game the problem stopped but clothes still have trouble loading.

That sounds like a faulty external drive.

No joke, just got a new replacement in the past month and generation zero is the only game this happens with.

I uninstalled the game completely and re-downloaded it to my internal harddrive and got to play for a couple hours tonight without any crashing. Though I still haven’t had any issues with any other games with my external harddrive so idk what was fully causing it.
