Dlc- Alpine unrest

I think this DLC doesn’t bring much fixation on the story, you buy it and play it for 1 week then you don’t play the map anymore.
I think the devs should put more challenges on her.

Would you pay for it?

It’s a DLC which brought a new region, more story, more collectibles, more challenges, added apocalypse machines to Östertörn for all players (Not just Himfjäl) and introduced the KVM89 for all.
You shouldn’t expect more than bugfixes and upgrades for new general features for this kind of closed content.

But I agree that I would love to see those procedual missions on Himfjäl as well.

And if ever all regions will have control points I would also love to see some on Himfjäl, too, but I don’t expect the needed changes to be done there.

I beg to differ. Apoc machines are the best source of 5* weapons, and also a steady source of Tungsten - which can be used to craft Adrenaline. Plus they can still be challenging to fight. So I return to Himfjäll once in a while.

Yes, but for those who already have all the resources it is not so interesting

Just spent a very satisfying hour or so there buffing up my companion. Island of gold, island of pain.

Oh hell nah! I don’t want more control points there also! It just makes even less roaming machines!

I literally stopped exploring the main land because there’s not enough machines to deal with for roaming around to feel like it’s survival.
I don’t want that! It’s just gonna become even less of a survival feeling!

Isn’t generation zero sopposed to feel scary that you can’t just simply fight a big robot?

I agree with your entire comment, but this made me think about Himfjal being a zone where you could have a random UNMARKED Reaper roaming around in place of a randomly spawned Tank. You just run up on a spawn group to engage the tank and it turns around and lights up its shields! No need to be a Rival, no need to farm for it. It just spawns in randomly in any group where a tank might otherwise have spawned. Like the tank that hangs around that little town that has two grocery stores for some inexplicable reason. ((I will never not laugh at that line.))
