Recently I’ve been shooting off tank weapons and finishing them by sledgehammer. Do we get better loot from downed robots when we go hand to hand?
As far as I know, it doesn’t matter how you kill machines. I think it even doesn’t what components you destroy. When you destroy a runners fuel cell, sometimes you get a fuel cell as loot. Same with seakers lures.
yeah though I think you lower your chances of getting that component by destroying it, there is a skill that lets you scavenge up to 50 % damaged components
The weapon used to kill the machine doesn’t state in any way the loot you get from the machine.
Also, Mechanic skill does help getting machine components. For example, try getting dual or full vision mods without Mechanic lvl2 skill.
