I got steam (since I was young…) but how do I start with this game on Steam? 
Buy it - download it - press Play … 
Edit: and don’t forget to log in to your Steam client of course…

Should be no need to search, just click on the links I posted above and they take you to the “complete” collection and any other DLC that hasn’t been included yet.

Just select the game in your steam library, ( your library tab is in the top left ) then click the green play button.
Also, something worth noting. If you want to play with a friend who is on Xbox, then you need to buy the game pass version of the game ( you don’t need to buy Game Pass itself, just Generation Zero and any DLC that you may want ) from the xbox app. The steam version does not support crossplay. I learned this the hard way…

Yesterday the transaction wasn’t succesful, but today it succeeded.

Can’t find it …
Unfortunately there’s nothing to be found in the Library (bibliotheek). Remains black, black and black again.
after installing a DLC I could choose for starting the game. I did.
Now I find this:
I suppose this is an additional feature… encountered it in the game, I remember…
But What to Do now?
You need an APEX Account for the daily assignments. But iIrc the limited (dummy) account is enough for that, but don’t nail me on this
If you bought the main game it should be in your library and it should be installed. DLCs need the main game.
Right.
But the main game … strange I got the request of the APEX account.
For now, I’ll choose the ‘limited account’

Just create the apex account. then we see what next. Write down the inlog info, for later use.
Don’t create the limited account.
Can you also post a picture of your Library when you clicked on library?
