Indeed. And an interesting find. The question is: intended or oversight?
It could be intended. The grenade is a physics object, just like the flechettes are. It they can attach to it, they will. Although the odds probably aren’t great. Reminds me of tossing grenades at a Tank, only for it to use it’s shockwave attack and send the grenade back at me.
Stuff like that is rare, but it’s plausible to happen.

Absolutely. My thought was just that with this update the devs deliberately chose the flechettes not to stick onto players, for a reason.
