Electrical Cabinets, Infinite Harvesters & Despawning Rivals

Came back to Generation Zero because of the Showdown update being released, only to be disappointed by the broken mess the game still is in. Spent about 4 hours in total and came across several things that either broke the game or ruined the experience:

  • Base defense towers shooting dead robots when there are other valid targets in sight
  • Friendly Fire from base defense towers who are still shooting at said dead robots
  • Doors unhinged from broken electrical cabinets hide themselves inside of the ground, preventing you from building anything on top unless you manage to shoot or use explosives to force the door to fly away
  • Broken pieces from dead robots also preventing building just like the electrical cabinet door except more visible
  • Interacting with loot boxes behind walls, from the floor below or from above. Sometimes this makes it so you don’t even need a lockpick to enter one of the rooms to get what’s inside
  • Dead robots displaying a “Search” highlight while not actually having the option to search them / Searching a dead robot only for the loot window to be completely empty
  • Dead robots despawning when heading to a safehouse within the same region or effectively just 400m away from where they’ve been killed in the first place
  • The Reaper getting stuck on tiny walls or objects, preventing his massive explosion ability from dealing any damage at all.
  • Same explosion randomly killing you while being 150m away from The Reaper, regardless of your current HP. Being at max health seemed to make this more common to occur.
  • The Reaper not being lootable after being killed but his reinforcements are, despawns when leaving the area, same thing as with the dead robots despawning when you leave a radius of 400m.
  • Harvesters infinitely spawning at Core Neural Node while doing a Drill defense mission on Low Setting (Torsberga Control Point)
  • Same Harvesters spamming reinforcements causing the game to nearly crash from the amount of enemies it has to handle if you don’t deal with it, forcing you to abandon what you’re doing to prevent it. Spawn rate of these reinforcements being somewhere along the lines of 4-5 per second.
  • Still getting stuck inside of car doors when trying to open for loot, especially if it’s a trunk. Seems to be fixable by going prone however.
  • “Repair Base” option showing at the Command Center but unable to use it

These are just some of the things to mention that happens just when playing the game. But hey, at least I’m not crashing when trying to escort Kalle.

Damn thats wild, my record was 9 or 10 harvesters at Bockhyttan village plus a few Tanks all together with a lot of Hunters and Runners back in 2020 or 2021 when some spots had crazy spawns.

I love it! I know it’s a bug but YES!! Give me that challenge any day😂

with those 10 harvesters :thinking: , usually when prisoners are being removed transferred from locations, there are precautions to have at least 10 police officers standing outside to prevent escaping, :thinking: were any hunters transferring humans out of that locations and the 10 harvesters for extra security, whatever it was, 10 harvesters guarding that door, :slightly_smiling_face:, must be one bad dude not following rules lol

I had some of these bugs in the past such as the loot boxes behind wall and the empty loot bug, but most of these are new to the update. Looks like they will have to issue a hotfix already.
