Enhancing Controller Support

Just thought I’d request a few quality of life upgrades for people playing with controllers. If anybody has more ideas to add, or improvements/objections to things already on the list, as always, feel free to post them down below.


QUICK SLOT SELECTION

How it currently works:
While hovering over an item in the inventory, you open a context menu. You then go down to Assign to Slot. Last it takes you to a drop down menu that lets you choose which slot you wish to assign it to.

Requested change:
Cut out the intervening steps. Hover over an applicable item in the inventory (binoculars/flares/etc), press an ‘assign to quick slot’ button (presumably Y/Triangle), and then follow up by pressing the D-pad button for the slot you wish it placed in.


QUICK SLOT REPRESENTATION

How it currently works:
The quick slots are represented, both in the inventory and in-game (when pressed), as a bar.

Requested change:
Show the quick slots in the shape of a D-pad with the items in their corresponding slots.


INTERACTING WITH DOORS

How it currently works:
Opening and closing doors requires placing your reticule pretty much over the lock.

Requested change:
Widen the interaction area or make the door itself the interactable object.


MOUSE CURSOR

How it currently works:
On the Inventory, Skills and Log screen of the menu, moving the left stick brings up the mouse cursor.

Requested change:
Disable the mouse cursor entirely.
