Even more graphical downgrades (STOP) SHOWDOWN

Remember that GZ was launched not just for PC, but on PS4 and Xbox One as well. That hardware is almost 12 years old!!! They still need to keep the game functioning on that old hardware to this day. That means that newer PC’s have to put their performance advantage aside in order to stay behind with the ancient last-gen consoles. It’s absurd when you think about it. So again, they should have made a separate build for PC’s with longer or adjustable render distances.

You know, various games have different patches depending on the system.
I dont understand why it cant be that way.
And its even easier on PC due to different settings.
There is no reason besides lack of funds or being lazy, specially considering they did not abandon the game in 2020 or declared it “finished”.
Lets not forget, the game performance was superior in most part in 2022 and 2023.
I say most part because there was always an update that brought something nasty to performance for some months.
The trees and details are now blurry, the game is more “ugly” now than it was at launch and before mid/late 2023
Its incomprensible this situation on next gen consoles and on high or highest settings on PC.
Its called “OPTIMIZATION” or multi patch optimization.

Long time ago, before PS5 got the 60fps update, which even wasn’t a real PS5 only update, I suggested a high resolution texture package as DLC for “next gen systems and PC”.

I guess it’s just the bad engine why it is what it is now.
