Hello, the experience counter always starts at level 2, and when you reach level 3, it returns to level 2.

The only thing I can think of is that the location where the game has to save, is somehow write protected.
I was thinking about that, too…
But maybe we simply missunderstand what what he/she describes.
Isn’t there an issue (currently don’t know if it has been fixed yet) where the experience bar doesn’t update correctly during a session if you reach a new level?
It should look correctly again, if you log out and in again.
Maybe the firewall is blocking GZ from writing to the drive.
