In light of this, it is confirmed that Reaper does not have level restriction when it comes to the experimental weapons, and that, is a game bug.

I’ll notify devs about it and see if we also need a dedicated bug report topic about it.

Can experimental weapons have a higher drop chance for lvl 25 players bc ive killed alot of lvl 4 rivals and some reapers but not 1 experimental weapon has dropped once for me at all.

I’ve noticed this too but i still very a few for every ten or so hours of play. Mostly PVG 90s…

Although it’s an old topic that should have been closed already I’ll give you an answer:

You can get experimental weapons in different ways, but for drops from machines and during base defenses and assaults (rewards) it always counted :

But before you can collect Experimental weapons, you have to be Player Level 25.
