Explosive Damage

That was 13 explosive canisters (~3mx3m) on a R4 rival - 22% damage(no skill) with what looked to be the perfect detonation. I love setting traps but the damage to weight makes things a bit impractical.

Does anyone have some suggestions? Would landmines work much better? I know they’re a lot harder to come by.

I stoped to set traps for tanks and harvesters. They just do not enough damage as you described. I would not wast my time to collect land mines because I don’t think they do much more damage.
Hopfully the devs increase the explosive damage potential of large fuel cells. They could become heavier thou, like 3 kg.

I know its just me and my opinion is wrong when it comes to this specific issue, but i actually prefer the low damage from the gas tanks.
The reason is; if you kill the enemy with the explosion, they will not reach any meaningful altitude, but if it survives the initial blast, it can go on a pretty little rocket ride, reaching several hundred meters in altitude. :slight_smile:
The fall damage will sometimes kill them upon landing so thats what im aiming for when i place large traps.
Me and a group of friends tried to build the biggest trap once, collecting over 400 gas tanks and covered a whole section of the airfield, but unfortunately the gas tanks started despawning when we placed something like 200 gastanks, place a new one and the first one disappeared.

And i know, the goal of the game is to KILL the enemy, but its so much more fun watching those heavvies fly thru the air like autumn leaves :smiley:
